有台灣建築界奧斯卡獎之稱的「國家卓越建設獎」出爐，新加坡WOHA團隊在台灣打造100％綠色建築，第一個作品磐鈺建設建案「雲華」，拿下「最佳規畫設計類商用建築類卓越獎」。台中市長林佳龍日前到新加坡參訪，希望借鏡新加坡，藉2018花博打造台中成為花園城市。
第11屆「國家卓越建設獎」，台中建商只有兩家得大獎，包括磐鈺建設建案「雲華」與龍寶建設「晴臻邸」。磐鈺建設總經理沈瑞興說，「雲華」的獲獎評語是「傳遞真善美的力量與土地的價值，整體呈現建築美學的最高意境」，這棟以立體綠化建築，將成為街景美化和節能減碳的指標。
台灣因常發生地震，建商對建物的抗震性特別重視，沈瑞興表示，為提升1樓耐震強度，結構鋼筋從地下室到地上2樓，採隔層柱筋鎖接，7月開始進入1樓工程施作，升級加值不加價的作法，讓住戶更安心。
